Under the supervision of Associate Professor Naito of Tokushima University Graduate School of Technology, Industrial and Social Sciences, the "Farming Instruments Team" consisting of five third-year students from the Research Course at Ikeda High School, measured the shapes and weights of 556 traditional farming instruments that are essential to the "Nishi-Awa Steep Slope Land Agriculture System," a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System, and compared and analyzed their characteristics. The report summarizing the results won the top prize in the group category of the 20th "Learning from Local Traditional Culture" Contest.
